- 8 oz pasta (such as fettuccine or penne)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
- Add cooked chicken back to the pan and mix well with the sauce.
- Toss in cooked pasta and stir until evenly coated.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
