Description

A delicious crispy chicken sandwich with Caesar dressing, fresh lettuce, and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices crusty bread or buns
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Whisk egg and milk in another bowl.
  4. Dip chicken breasts in egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  6. Toast bread or buns lightly.
  7. Spread Caesar dressing on both sides of the bread.
  8. Place crispy chicken on the bread, top with lettuce and extra Parmesan.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, pan-fry the chicken in oil instead of baking.
  • Add cherry tomatoes or bacon for extra flavor.
  • Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if preferred.
