A delicious crispy chicken sandwich with Caesar dressing, fresh lettuce, and Parmesan cheese.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 slices crusty bread or buns
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- 1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk egg and milk in another bowl.
- Dip chicken breasts in egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Toast bread or buns lightly.
- Spread Caesar dressing on both sides of the bread.
- Place crispy chicken on the bread, top with lettuce and extra Parmesan.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, pan-fry the chicken in oil instead of baking.
- Add cherry tomatoes or bacon for extra flavor.
- Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if preferred.
